About this role
This role provides on-site medical services at the Boeing Jetplex Medical Clinic, supporting employee health and safety. You will coordinate exams, manage medical records, and deliver general medical support to a diverse workforce.
Day-to-day responsibilities include treating and stabilizing occupational injuries, conducting vital signs and blood glucose exams, and providing emergency response. You will also manage substance abuse testing, coordinate with the onsite Security Department, and maintain BLS/CPR and AED certification.
You will work closely with Boeing management, the Medical Director, and the Medical Management Team to address complex medical issues. This role requires familiarity with Alabama workers compensation laws and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with frequent task changes.

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School or University required
- BSN preferred
- Current Alabama or Multistate Nursing license required
- Must possess a valid Alabama driver license
- Will be required to become certified in drug and alcohol Federal Collections
- BLS/CPR and AED certification required
- Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred
- Occupational health experience and knowledge of workers compensation preferred
Responsibilities
- Treat and stabilize occupational injuries, referring for medical care when applicable and following up with injured workers
- Conduct vital signs and blood glucose exams, recognizing abnormalities and stabilizing, treating, or referring as needed
- Coordinate medical emergencies with the onsite Security Department and provide on-site emergency response
- Complete OSHA 101 first reports of injury in the dedicated MIS system and report occupational injuries to the insurance carrier
- File and maintain medical records, process insurance claims and paperwork, and perform Titmus vision and hearing exams
- Coordinate on-site drug testing and refer employees to personal doctors for additional assessment as needed
- Conduct accident investigations to assist EHS and schedule surveillance exams with local and off-site employees
- Maintain and stock supplies, apply Boeing medical policies and procedures, and perform all other duties as assigned
