In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound management. You will review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice is within State and Federal guidelines, and implement physician orders and nursing interventions as needed.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
  • 1 year of nursing experience preferred
  • Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
  • Current CPR license

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of wound management
  • Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice is provided within State and Federal guidelines
  • Review all referrals for consultation, treatment, or resolution of problems to ensure validity and applicability to documented nurse plans
  • Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure resident care plans are met
  • Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions, and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
  • Seek opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
  • Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility
