About this role
We are seeking board certified Nurse Practitioners with broad clinical expertise and a passion for improving healthcare access and quality. In this role, you will deliver virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages across a wide range of conditions.
Your day-to-day involves conducting age-appropriate history and virtual exams, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute conditions. You will work closely with our provider and support teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care in a high-volume urgent care setting.
This position offers multiple schedule options including full-time (40 hours/week), modified full-time (32 hours/week), and part-time (20 hours/week). Shift scheduling is managed by our team, but we always do our best to take your personal preferences into consideration.
You will join an integrated medical practice focused on innovation in telehealth. The role provides the opportunity to impact patient access to care while working remotely with a collaborative team.
Requirements
- Active board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license and multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice with strong clinical acumen
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare/Medicaid status in good standing
Responsibilities
- Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute conditions
- Manage comprehensive patient care plans including prescriptions and follow-ups
- Document clinical encounters accurately in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with provider and support teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide patient education and guidance on self-care and prevention
