At Pediatric Home Service, our RNs and LPNs provide 1:1 pediatric home health care, helping children with medical complexities grow and thrive safely at home. This role offers a meaningful nursing job with flexibility, support, and real impact on a child's life.

You will care for a 14-year-old client with a g-tube, working either 1 to 3 day shifts between Monday-Friday 8a-3:30p or 3 night shifts per week from 7p-7a. Your focus is on providing one-on-one care that allows the child to live their best life at home, school, and within their community.

Our team has been creating heartwarming memories in pediatric nursing since 1990, offering top-notch care to kids with trach, ventilator, or g-tube needs. You'll receive specialized, hands-on training in ventilator, trach, and g-tube care, so no experience is required to get started.

Requirements

Active RN or LPN license in Kansas
Willingness to learn specialized pediatric care (training provided in ventilator, trach, and g-tube care)
Ability to provide one-on-one care to a pediatric client in a home setting
Comfort with g-tube care (no prior experience required; hands-on training available)
Reliable transportation to client home in McPherson, KS
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 pediatric home health care to a 14-year-old client with a g-tube
Administer g-tube feedings and medications as prescribed
Monitor client condition and report changes to the care team
Work flexible day shifts (1-3 per week, Mon-Fri 8a-3:30p) or night shifts (3 nights per week, 7p-7a)
Collaborate with family and healthcare providers to ensure consistent, quality care
Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records
Support the child's ability to thrive at home, school, and in the community
