As a Staff Nurse you will lead the team in continuous assessments, planning and evaluation of residents' needs. This includes providing excellent nursing care while overseeing medicine management in line with NMC Standards.

You will create and carry out treatment plans, offering a safe and caring environment. Working with the Service Manager, you will promote high standards of care and ensure shifts run smoothly.

Requirements

Current registration with the NMC
Relevant Nursing qualification
Compassionate and caring attitude
Adequate knowledge, experience and clear understanding of the nursing role and its professional boundaries

Responsibilities

Lead the team in continuous assessments, planning and evaluation of residents' needs and wishes
Provide excellent nursing care and support to residents
Oversee all aspects of medicine management and ensure safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC Standards
Create and carry out treatment plans
Offer a safe, caring and stable environment to the people we support
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
Support the Service Manager with key targets by promoting high standards of nursing care
Support, guide, teach and mentor other members of the team
