About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at a group home serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide direct care including G-tube feeding and overall health monitoring to ensure safety and well-being.
Administer G-tube feedings in accordance with prescribed care plans while assisting individuals with ADLs including hygiene, mobility, and personal care. Accurate documentation supports compliance with NJ DDD requirements at all times.
Assist with household duties such as cooking, cleaning, and community outings as part of a team-oriented approach. Shifts are available Monday to Friday 4pm-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm.
This position based in Teaneck NJ can be filled as part time or full time. Eligibility for benefits is based on hours worked, employment classification, and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN or LPN license in the State of New Jersey
- Proficient in G-tube administration and related care
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Experience in community health or home care settings preferred
