About this role

Cooper University Health Care is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Coordinator to facilitate and coordinate safe, comprehensive care for all patients presenting to the Urgent Care Center. This RN serves as a professional caregiver within a multidisciplinary team, assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated time frame.

In this role, you will utilize the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self, to provide care to patients with acute and immediate needs. You will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Urgent Care Center, a new model focused on acute care in the Cherry Hill and surrounding areas.

Requirements

  • 3 years of Emergency Nursing experience
  • Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to the Urgent Care Center
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame
  • Provide care to patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self
  • Assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Urgent Care Center
  • Focus on the acute and immediate care needs of patients in the Cherry Hill and surrounding areas
  • Deliver excellent customer service and apply strong interpersonal and clinical skills in daily interactions
