About this role
Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab, a role within an integrated system that includes a nationally recognized Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center. This position is a 0.8 FTE with 8-hour day shifts and includes on-call responsibilities per unit policy.
Working under the Hennepin Healthcare Patient and Family Centered Care model, you will partner with patients, families, and the care team to provide and coordinate nursing care. Your focus will be on protecting and promoting health, preventing illness and injury, and alleviating suffering through treatment of the human response.
You will document nursing interventions and develop individualized plans of care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a 473-bed academic medical center. The role also includes potential cross-training in Interventional Radiology, broadening your procedural skills.

Requirements
- 1 year of recent adult ICU and/or Cardiac Cath Lab professional nursing (RN) experience within the last 3 years
- Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota
- Ability to provide and coordinate nursing care under general supervision
- Commitment to patient and family centered care
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Protect, promote, and optimize health in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Prevent illness and injury through proactive patient care
- Alleviate suffering by treating the human response to health conditions
- Partner with patients, their families, and significant others in care decisions
- Document nursing interventions and an individualized plan of care
- Participate in on-call coverage per unit policy
- Cross-train in Interventional Radiology as needed
