As an LPN or RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse at Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, you focus on one patient at a time in private duty nursing, becoming a lifeline for families by providing skilled care for children and young adults with complex medical needs.

Requirements
- Current and active LPN or RN license.
- Genuine love for patient-centered care and a desire to make a visible impact.
- Passion for working with children; pediatric experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work PRN day shifts with flexible scheduling.
- Current CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation to provide in-home care in the Wichita area.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert, specialized nursing care for children and young adults with complex medical needs in their homes.
- Build genuine bonds with patients and become a trusted partner to their families.
- Help children thrive where they feel safest—at home.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage medical equipment such as feeding tubes or ventilators.
- Coordinate care with families and the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising physician.
- Provide training and support to family caregivers to promote independence and confidence.
