At Rock Creek Senior Living, our Memory Care Homemakers create a warm, inviting, and tidy home-like environment for residents. This role is about more than cleaning—it's about making every apartment and common space feel like family.
Your day includes guiding residents through family-style dining as a Mealtime Maven, preparing and serving meals while encouraging participation. You'll also act as a Snack Specialist, ensuring residents enjoy snacks and hydration three times daily.

Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional in appearance and conduct.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude showing love for residents.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Be a Keeper of the Home by creating an inviting, comfortable, homelike, and tidy atmosphere in all memory care apartments and common areas.
- Be a Mealtime Maven by preparing and serving family-style dining, guiding residents to set tables and clean up together as a family.
- Be a Snack Specialist by ensuring all residents are guided to snacks and hydration three times a day.
- Be a Caring Connector by providing extra hands in the Neighborhood to engage residents and provide meaningful experiences.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Maintain a positive, energetic attitude while interacting with residents to foster a loving environment.
