About this role
This role is about creating a warm, inviting, and homelike atmosphere for residents in our memory care neighborhood. As a Memory Care Homemaker, you will be the keeper of the home, ensuring that all apartments and common areas are tidy and comfortable.
Your day-to-day work includes being a mealtime maven, preparing and serving family-style dining while guiding residents to participate in setting tables and cleaning up together. You will also serve as a snack specialist, ensuring residents are guided to snacks and hydration three times a day.
Beyond these duties, you will act as a caring connector, providing extra hands in the neighborhood to engage residents and create meaningful experiences. This role is active, requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day.

Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Shall have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Shall be professional in appearance and conduct.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with residents.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude and love our residents.
- Must be active, as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Be a keeper of the home by creating an inviting, comfortable, and tidy atmosphere in all memory care apartments and common areas.
- Be a mealtime maven by preparing and serving family-style dining, guiding residents to participate in setting tables and cleaning up together.
- Be a snack specialist by ensuring all residents are guided to snacks and hydration three times a day.
- Be a caring connector by providing extra hands in the neighborhood to engage residents and provide meaningful experiences.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
