About this role
Lakeside View is looking to recruit a Bank Nurse - RMN/RNLD to join the team. Priory’s acute and PICU services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients. Priory Lakeside View supports 30 adults with acute mental health needs in a safe, therapeutic environment.
You will be part of a compassionate team committed to patients' wellbeing. Take a personalised approach using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence. Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans and undertake routine tasks to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment.
Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with the Multi-Disciplinary team. Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings. Prioritise nursing duties, delegate appropriately within the shift co-ordination framework, and work as nurse in charge as required to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements
- Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or RNLD with active NMC Registration
- 6–12 months’ post-registration experience and completion of a preceptorship programme
- Sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices
- Evidence of ongoing post-registration continuing professional development
- Minimum of six months’ experience in Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to change, improvement, and quality
- Ability to develop and apply flexible, innovative approaches to practice
Responsibilities
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate patient wellbeing, dignity and treatment
- Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team
- Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings and attend other meetings as requested
- Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination framework
- Work as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonably practicable a safe environment
- Maintain a continued level of personal professional development in accordance with preceptorship and revalidation
