QSL Management is a fast-growing senior living company seeking a Staff Nurse for The Blake at Biloxi. Our mission is to provide seniors with luxurious and comfortable resort-style homes while promoting wellness, security, longevity, family, joy, and self-worth.
In this role, you will provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assisted living. You will assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs while working independently with minimal direct supervision.
You will serve as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team. Requirements
- Must have a caring heart and a willingness to serve others
- Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state
- Current CPR certification
- Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred
- Current First Aid certification preferred
- Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assisted living
- Provide world class care and service for residents while remaining flexible and adapting to change
- Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs
- Work independently with minimal direct supervision and with a team to make decisions, organize and prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments
- Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team
