In this role, you will monitor skin problems and treat wounds as ordered by physicians, administer and record treatment medications, and chart patient progress, ailments, and symptoms. You will assist in identifying, managing, and treating acute and chronic wounds such as pressure ulcers, skin tears, and infections.
You will work in a non-profit, mission-driven organization known for the highest level of care in our communities. You'll maintain effective communication with attending physicians, provide reports to the Director of Nursing, and make compliance rounds to report pertinent issues.

Requirements
- Active LPN License to practice in the State of Georgia.
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram format.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and other computer applications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor any skin problems that patients may have and treat as ordered by physician.
- Administer and record all treatment medications.
- Chart information regarding patient's progress, ailments, medication, symptoms, and observations.
- Assist in identifying, managing, and treating acute and chronic wounds and skin lesions, including pressure ulcers, skin tears, and skin infections.
- Maintain effective lines of communication with attending physicians.
- Admit, discharge, and transfer patients as requested.
- Make compliance rounds and report any pertinent issues.
- Assist the Director of Nursing in follow-up on consultant recommendations, such as pharmacy and dietary.
