About this role
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong clinical background in acute surgical care. We are looking for a dynamic and positive individual to ensure the Theatre department is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring, and Well Led. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Theatre team.
Develop excellent working relationships with staff members, consultants and key stakeholders. Assist in driving sustainable excellence in the safety and quality of care and services. Support the Quality agenda by monitoring achievements against required standards.
Identify risks to quality of care and services and plan, recommend or implement changes for continuous improvement. Requirements
- ODP level 3
- Registered member with the HCPC
- Strong clinical background in acute surgical care
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Sound computer skills and knowledge
- Commitment to the delivery of customer focussed services
- Experience and confidence in effectively meeting compliance to the Governance Framework
