Home Health Public Health Nurse II

Provides preventive, therapeutic, restorative and intermittent skilled nursing services to individuals in their place of residence. Works under limited supervision at a fully prepared level with client problems ranging from simple to extremely complex.

Delivers care at a fully prepared level while managing the total evaluation of each individual case. Handles significantly difficult nursing assignments in home settings across the Cumberland Valley District.

Supervises Local Health Nurse I Home Health nurses and provides training for home health aides. Coordinates all aspects of care delivery for patients with varying levels of need.

Operates with autonomy while ensuring compliance with licensure and annual update requirements. Focuses on both direct skilled services and oversight of the home health nursing team.
