About this role
At RestorixHealth, the mission is to restore health and improve quality of life for patients with wounds. Wound Care Registered Nurses serve as the heart and soul of this work, utilizing the Nursing Process to plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care for optimal outcomes.
The RN provides patient care based on scientific principles and evidence-based practice while recognizing changes in condition and intervening appropriately. Nursing actions are prioritized to reflect patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes, with physician orders implemented accurately within appropriate time frames.
The Wound Care Nurse works collaboratively with all other disciplines on the assigned unit. Ongoing training supplies the tools needed to succeed, and education and counseling are provided to patients and families on wound care processes and issues.

Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals
- Valid Registered Nursing license required
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
- Prior experience working with wound care patients (Will train)
- Prior experience with billing and coding preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice
