This PMHNP position is PRN status with priority on supporting site operations through admissions and ongoing patient needs. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of medical, clinical, and operations professionals who share a passion for addiction recovery.
The Nurse Practitioner provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow-up as directed, requiring population specific competencies. You will initiate and complete detailed patient assessments, order diagnostic procedures, and prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on data analysis.

Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experienced PMHNP strongly preferred.
- Current Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Population specific competencies required.
- Adherence to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on level of patient contact.
Responsibilities
- Initiates and completes a detailed patient assessment.
- Initiates the order of laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and other routine diagnostic procedures.
- Diagnoses actual or potential health problems or needs based on analysis of collected data and plans therapeutic intervention.
- Orders and initiates appropriate medication, treatment, and consultation based on analysis of collected data.
- Orders or performs routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing (not involving tendons, arteries, or nerves), wound care, venous and arterial blood draws, and managing simple conditions produced by infection, trauma, or other disease processes.
- Educates patients regarding prescribed treatment and medications.
- Supports site operations with admissions and ongoing patient needs in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
