About this role
This per diem role offers the opportunity to provide top-notch nursing care to over 20,000 dialysis patients at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. You will work with both adult and pediatric patients in the inpatient and outpatient dialysis center, which is open six days a week.
Your shift runs from 11:30 am to 12:00 am, providing flexible scheduling in a compassionate culture of care. You will be an educator, researcher, and innovator at the bedside, contributing to a case mix index that is among the highest in the nation while achieving some of the best measured outcomes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current New York State RN Licensure.
- At least two years of acute care renal RN experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological and physical science.
- Knowledge of current health care environment and customer service principles.
- Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills and use of computer applications.
- Ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care.
- BCLS certification.
