Registered Ward Nurse (RN)

Nuffield Health is the charity that’s building a healthier nation, one day at a time. As a Staff Nurse on the Elective Surgical Ward at our Hereford Hospital, you’ll drive the standard in patient care. You’re registered with the NMC and bring post-registration experience.

Ward shift patterns run 7am-7.30pm days and 7pm-7.30am nights, with early shifts 7-2.30pm or late shifts 2pm-9.30pm. Preferences for hours worked can be discussed at interview. Includes weekend work on this bank contract.

Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward. Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around. The 20-bed ward and busy ACU handle elective surgical procedures across specialties like orthopaedics, gynaecology and urology.

Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care. Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities. Working on the bank means ad-hoc shifts to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
