In this role, you will partner with Medical Directors, the Chief Medical Officer, and the broader medical team to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Your day-to-day includes conducting comprehensive evaluations, performing medication management, and providing patient education on risks and benefits, all while working closely with support staff to ensure proper follow-up.

You will be part of a collaborative environment where case discussions leverage the expertise of others, helping you develop new skills and think outside the box. Our full-time Admissions and Assessment team handles referrals, allowing you to focus on building strong relationships with clients and delivering in-depth, sustainable healing.

Requirements

Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Active and unrestricted registered nurse (RN) and advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in the state of practice (New Jersey)
Valid DEA registration
Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program
Experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments
Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits, and reasonable outcome expectations
Work diligently with support staff to ensure proper patient communication and follow-up
Participate in treatment team meetings
Assist Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director
