As a Staff Nurse, you will lead the team and be involved in continuous assessments, planning and evaluation of the residents’ needs and wishes. Provide excellent nursing care and support to residents while overseeing all aspects of medicine management. Ensure the safe administration of medication in accordance with NMC Standards and create treatment plans.

Offer a safe, caring and stable environment to the people we support and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines. Support the Service Manager with key targets by promoting and practicing high standards of nursing care. Supervise staff and shifts in a smooth manner while working individually and in partnership with the Manager.

Support, guide, teach and mentor other members of your team for the smooth running of the home. Requirements

  • Hold current registration with the NMC
  • Relevant Nursing qualification
  • Compassionate and caring attitude
  • Adequate knowledge and experience of the nursing role
  • Clear understanding of nursing professional boundaries
  • Ability to lead the team in assessments, planning and evaluation
