About this role

Brainkind Neurological Centre York is a purpose-built 40-bed state-of-the-art independent hospital. It provides high-quality neuropsychiatric, neurobehavioral assessment and rehabilitation for people following an acquired brain injury with mental health and physical conditions. Requirements

  • Current professional registration with Nursing & Midwifery Council (RMHN/RNLD/RGN)
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible in approach to work
  • Friendly and approachable manner with good people skills, showing care and empathy
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous acquired brain injury experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act & Mental Capacity Act (desirable)
  • Recognised practice assessor/practice supervisor (desirable)
  • Understanding of risk assessment and management (desirable)
