We seek a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Boston clinics. In this role you will be supervised by Stella’s Chief Psychiatric Officer and Founder of the Boston site. You will build and manage a panel of patients for psychopharmacology while administering interventional treatment services.

Daily work includes performing comprehensive consultations to assess candidacy for ketamine, Spravato, TMS, and SGB. You will conduct interval assessments, administer and monitor intravenous ketamine and Spravato treatments, perform TMS mapping, and deliver subsequent TMS treatments at our Brookline clinic.

You will work closely with other Stella clinicians to shape best practices and consult regularly with the Chief Psychiatric Officer and broader Patient Care Team. The position offers the opportunity to refine our care delivery model while remaining accountable to patient satisfaction and clinical outcome KPIs.

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in the state of Massachusetts
  • Beyond 2-year supervisory period and able to prescribe independently
  • At least 2 years of clinical psychiatry experience
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and process information in a confidential manner
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with members of an interdisciplinary care team
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting; ketamine infusion, Spravato, or TMS experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple requests, and learn new proprietary systems quickly

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a panel of patients for psychopharmacology and administer interventional treatment services
  • Perform comprehensive consultations to assess prospective patients’ candidacy for ketamine, Spravato, TMS, and SGB
  • Perform comprehensive interval assessments of patients presenting for intravenous ketamine, Spravato, and TMS treatments
  • Administer and monitor intravenous ketamine and Spravato treatments, including taking vital signs and supporting patients through their experiences
  • Perform initial TMS mapping and administer subsequent TMS treatments
  • Consult regularly with the Chief Psychiatric Officer, VP of Clinical Services, and broader Patient Care Team to design appropriate care plans
  • Respond to patient escalations and execute crisis protocols as needed
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation of patient consultations and treatments
