About this role

Bulfinch Temps hires for long-term temporary employees, providing a great way to get your foot in the door at MGH and affiliates. Roles require ambulatory experience and availability for at least 3 days per week between Monday-Friday.

Responsible for patient care, collaboration within interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of healthcare through skilled nursing expertise, support, and advocacy. Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established protocols. Pay starts at $45 per hour and increases based on years of experience.

Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, assist in treatments, and maintain accurate patient records while upholding infection control measures. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Work onsite in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment at 399 Revolution Drive, Somerville.

Educate patients and families on health management and respond efficiently to emergent situations with sound judgment. Demonstrate commitment to continuing education and professional development. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] required
Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
Ambulatory experience required
Hospital or managed care experience 1-2 years preferred
Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
