About this role

As a Staff Nurse in Intensive Care, perform patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes. Analyze collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to optimal patient results. Implement and evaluate care plans with patients and families for world-class satisfaction.

Day-to-day duties include directing and collaborating with team members to support a healthy work environment. Implement plans with measurable criteria consistent with performance levels. Evaluate outcomes alongside patients and support systems to maintain high standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Registered Nurse license from the Indiana State Board of Nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within 5 years of employment (with the exception of staff previously granted grandfather status)
  • Graduate of RN Program
  • Some areas may require a current and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Performs patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes
  • Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment
  • Analyzes collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes
  • Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with work class performance levels
  • Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes
  • Contributes to a high-performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills
  • Apply for nursing council or committee and be vested on one council at least every 5 years with 80% attendance
