About this role

As a Staff Nurse in Intensive Care, perform patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes. Analyze collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to optimal patient results. Implement and evaluate care plans with patients and families for world-class satisfaction.

Day-to-day duties include directing and collaborating with team members to support a healthy work environment. Implement plans with measurable criteria consistent with performance levels. Evaluate outcomes alongside patients and support systems to maintain high standards.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Registered Nurse license from the Indiana State Board of Nursing
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within 5 years of employment (with the exception of staff previously granted grandfather status)
Graduate of RN Program
Some areas may require a current and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Performs patient assessments in a systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes
Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment
Analyzes collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes
Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with work class performance levels
Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes
Contributes to a high-performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills
Apply for nursing council or committee and be vested on one council at least every 5 years with 80% attendance
