Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license
  • BCLS with the American Heart Association
  • One year of Women’s Health experience (preferred)
  • Commitment to excellence and professionalism
  • Ability to work full time night flex shifts

Responsibilities

  • Practice evidence-based nursing with mothers and newborns
  • Improve the patient care experience on the Mother Baby unit
  • Educate parents on newborn care and breastfeeding
  • Monitor postpartum recovery and newborn health
  • Collaborate with action-oriented team at the bedside
  • Lead innovations in patient care as bedside nurse
  • Provide care during night flex shifts
