About this role

We're seeking Credentialled Mental Health Nurses to support delivery of high-quality, person-centred mental health services across the North Coast of NSW. As a contractor, enjoy full flexibility, set your own hours, choose preferred days, and work from our offices or your own practice. You'll join the Therapeutic Alliance consortium delivering the Primary Mental Health Program.

Your role involves supporting people with complex mental health needs through clinical care coordination with psychiatrists, GPs, and multidisciplinary clinicians including peer workers. Provide evidence-based interventions in individual, family, or group settings, conduct holistic assessments, and develop tailored care plans. Participate in case reviews, deliver culturally responsive and trauma-informed services, and support quality improvement initiatives.

Work in a collaborative team environment with access to clinical consultation and connections to other mental health professionals. The Therapeutic Alliance uses a multidisciplinary hub-and-spoke model of care through community-based not-for-profit organisations. Benefit from a supportive setting focused on recovery-oriented practice.

Experience complete flexibility to choose hours, days, and locations like Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, or Port Macquarie. Gain autonomy to manage your caseload and clinical approach while contributing to innovative community-based mental health care. Connect to a large network of regional professionals for meaningful impact.
